jrtmom...do you use it just like the directions say? that sounds like a nice alternative and I bet is smells good! LOL!!
I was hesitant to join the imagination station thing when I was so new, I thought I would have to pay or something, but you don't ...so go ahead. The only thing you have to do is remember your password and sign in name...LOL BUT it is SOOOO worth it. So many people around here have great pics on how to do things and Joys things WONDERFUL and then others have AWESOME pictures with close ups of the dolls, so you can style it this way and that...it was very helpful!

DD used her tangle spray on Molly's hair one day before I realized. It didn't seem to hurt I but her hair is not very shiny. I thought it was because of the tangle spray. She wants to do a downey dunk but she's only had her since June. I encourage her to keep Molly's hair in braids. We've done it on Dorothy ( our ebay Molly) and it really helped especially after the steaming. Now Kirsten needs a spa day.

No More Tangles won't make it shiny, just easier to brush. To make it shiny, you use one of the leave-in wig treatments, or steam it.

Hi does any one know if it is safe to put a silicone spray on the dolls hair?I am refering to the spray we (I) use on our hair to make it shiney. My daughter's AG doll Eva ,her hair is always getting tangled. We have the AG brush but it seems to get tangled all the time.I am afraid to put anything on her hair.Has anyone ever put any product in for tangles and to add shine? Thanks

Sorry, I'm not sure about a shine product for the doll's hair because it is a synthetic wig, but there are sheens that are used for wig products. Perhaps you can search the web to see if you get some info.
Anyway, I'm sure someone here can offer you more than me. There are a lot of doll restorers here.
BTW Welcome!!

Hey thanks everyone for all the great input,I signed up on Image Station it was no big deal. Now I'll have to try the downey dunk on my daughters doll as soon as my daughter is feeling well . She has a bad ear infection that has brought fevers of 101-105. I am hoping her new antibiotics will kick in and help her out.
